Pop of colour on a plate

A beautiful summer salad!


  • 200g of prawns
  • one teaspoon of black pepper
  • one teaspoon of white pepper
  • one maggi cube
  • a teaspoon of dark soy sauce
  • a handful of radish
  • a handful of mixed green leaf salad
  • one medium sized onion
  • one beetroot
  • one red pepper
  • one yellow pepper


  1. wash and dry prawns, awaiting to marinate
  2. marinate prawns with black pepper, white pepper, maggi cube and soy sauce
  3. heat up butter till it sizzles then add chopped onion and prawns
  4. fry for five minutes then plate up (do not over cook prawns)


  1. wash green leaf salad, add chopped peppers and radish….  blend thoroughly
  2. boil beetroot for 10 minutes, shred / grate it then add any chutney of your choice (optional)
  3. arrange green leaf salad on plate with a side dish of beetroot
  4. lay pan fried prawns on the bed of green leaf salad and eat up whilst warm
